Peachtree Corners is a city located in the north-central part of Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States. The city is bordered by the Chattahoochee River to the north and the cities of Duluth and Norcross to the south and west, respectively. The city was officially incorporated on July 1, 2012, becoming the 16th city in Gwinnett County.

Before becoming a city, Peachtree Corners was known as a census-designated place, which is a geographic area designated by the U.S. Census Bureau for statistical purposes. The area was originally part of the Cherokee Nation, which was forced to cede its land to the United States government in 1835 as part of the Indian Removal Act. The name “Peachtree Corners” comes from the intersection of two major thoroughfares in the area, Peachtree Parkway and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
